The Law Library is open Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The Law Librarian is available Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
The Law Library will be closed for all Napa Superior Court Holidays 

Background Information:
Located on the first floor of the Historic Courthouse, the Napa County Law Library serves the bench, bar and citizens of Napa County. The library is a practice library, focusing on practical materials for attorneys and lay persons. Use of the library's collection is free to all who enter the library. Our librarian is available weekday mornings between 8 a.m - 10 a.m. to provide appropriate resources to meet the legal research and information needs of library patrons. 

Board of Trustees:
The Napa County Law Library is a state local public agency, organized under California Business and Professions Code sections 6300, et seq. By statute, the Napa County Law Library is required to have a Board of Trustees to make decisions regarding the policies of the library and expenditure of the money received from a portion of the Napa County Superior Court filing fees. The members of the Board of Trustees serve without compensation. Monthly Board meetings are usually held from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month, in the third floor conference room of the Historic Courthouse, 825 Brown Street in Napa. The meetings are open to the public and the agenda will be posted on the Meetings page of this website and/or on the door of the library. The meeting minutes will be posted on the Meetings page of the website.
